Ma’aalea is located on the center of Maui on the East side of the island. Consider this a great starting point for everything in Maui– Ma’alaea provides easy access to Lahaina, Kihei, and Wailuku. It’s also the perfect place to start your journey to Haleakala National Park, or on the road to Hana.

The condo complexes in Ma’alaea were built in the 1970’s before many setback regulations were put in place. The view from your Lanai is as close to the water as you can get! We are just a short walk to the North entrance of Sugar Beach– the longest beach on any of the Hawaiian Islands.  This stretch of beach is one of the least crowded in all of Maui. About 2.4 million visitors come to Maui every year.

Mid-December through mid-April is the most popular time for visitors on the island. Believe it or not, this is peak time for whale-watching.
